Just like I said it would happen, Ellen DeGeneres is on the cover of O magazine.
Sure there was lots of silliness – mock begging and pleading, a Halloween costume stunt where Ellen dressed up as a magazine cover – but this decision was in the bag months ago.
She’s only the second person to be featured on the cover with the Oprah (the first was Michelle Obama), and might be the first gay person. I say “might” because I think the jury is still out on Oprah.
The cover features Ellen popping out of a box. Now maybe Oprah will pop out of the closet.
